Just some weekend garage tinkerers who got tired of sketching complex floor plans on greasy grid paper. We couldn't find a simple no BS tool to use for sketching out our ideas quickly, so we built one and shared it with you.
Why We Built Garage Planner
A garage is more than a place to just park your cars; it's a workshop, a sanctuary, a home gym, and a storage hub. Balancing those conflicting needs can feel impossible - especially when trying to calculate if you have enough space to pull in a car without smacking a workbench or blocking your electrical panel.
We built the Garage Planner app using Fabric.js and Tailwind CSS as a lightweight, lightning-fast 2D design workspace. By processing all trace floorplans and blueprint designs directly on your client browser, our planner keeps your structural files private, fast, and completely free to export.
